The best kind of trade...

...culminates when both parties are happy. A Home Run Baker player collector came across my card website and made an offer for my T206 Old Mill back PSA 5.

Here's what he got:

Umm.....You forgot to mention that you threw in a bottle of vasoline lubricant with your deal. Great Deal! Now sell me the Palmer 8.5, use the money to buy another Palmer 8, and put the extra dough toward something else. image

    Great job Andy!

    Is that Heilmann available?

Wow, great trade Andy. Brian Cashman could use you!

Thanks guys, but I think I'll hang-on to both the Palmer and Heilmann for now!

Congratulations on a great trade. That Frank Baker card must be a low pop I would imagine. image

Both the Bakers are pretty low-pops, actually. The T206 Baker I traded would be a Pop 1 with only 2 higher (both PSA 6's; total pop of Old Mill back Bakers = 11). The new owner would have to re-label it to get it into the proper category for the pop report (right now it's an "unknown back" officially). My PSA 8 W551 Baker is a Pop 3 with one higher (8.5) out of a total pop of 22 PSA-graded cards.

The Heilmann, surprisingly, is the only one PSA has awarded a numeric grade. There's one PSA 4 (mine) and one slabbed "Authentic".
