Recent additions to the Vintage Football Card Gallery

Here are three pages I've added recently to the Vintage Football Card Gallery:

1967 Philadelphia virtual uncut sheet
Interactive 1964 Topps Oakland Raiders team card
1965 Philadelphia virtual uncut sheet

I put together the Raiders card yesterday, kind of on a whim. I was curious whether Al Davis had appeared on a Raiders team card, and I found him on the 1964 Topps card. So I spent a couple of hours adding that card to my group of interactive team cards.

The 1965 and 1967 Philadelphia sheets are interesting for a couple of reasons. It turns out that 1965, 1966, and 1967 Philadelphia sheets were all numbered the same--or at least that's my conclusion--so if you know what one looks like, you can construct them all. Also, each of the Philadelphia sets contains 66 double prints that are not documented in the price guides. You can tell which ones are double prints by looking at the uncut sheets.

If you like this sort of thing, subscribe to my blog or page on Facebook. I usually post new stuff in both places.

(Edited to fix Raiders link--thanks, Scott.)
