As the title states, I got married Oct. 1st and promptly went on a cruise until Friday. After I got off the boat, my new wife and I cruised over to the Lakeland, FL show and then on to a small "mall" coin show in Gadsden, AL...Here are my purchases. I have attributed all of the coins except the seated quarter, and seated half-dime...If anyone can help with those, that would be great! Thanks for looking!
My only purchase at the Lakeland, FL show was this bust dime, it's nice and crusty. (I have it soaking in acetone to see which grime will come off and which wont)

Aw, The Honeymoon. Come on y'all, don't any of you remember yours. I do. The best one was with
my second wife the first time. I remember it like it was yesterday. January of 1977. We went to
Key West for a few days and while there I wasn't thining about coins I was hungry. We ate dinner
at a place on the water one night. Near there was an old Spanish ship replica tied up and afterwards
we walked over to look at it. It was Mel's and he was selling shares of stock in some DA treasure
hunters adventure looking for a boat called the Atoche. Well being freshly married and just enough money
to buy gas @ 60 cent a gallon to get back to Jacksonville the wife wouldn't let me spend the 1000 bucks
on a share of stock. Hmmmm I've wanted to kick here butt since about the end of 1998 but what do ya do?
Dude, it's good that you can buy your coins so soon after the knot is tired but you need to know about the
" Don't Go Thing " It is money that you get and keep to yourself so you can buy what as she may put it in the
future, " those little coiny things ". Do not let anybody fool you by saying, "Man I do what I want and buy my
coins as much as I want". Yea Right! " Don't Go Money" will be your friend the rest of your life because you
keep it and it don't go to the wife.
I like the newps, especially that Bust Dime
<< <i>Congrats! The first marriage is always the funnest, they downhill with number 2 and 3, sometimes 4. >>

Meltdown: The coins are all quite nice, I wish my photography skills/equipment were better to show them off...I picked the new wife up a necklace at the Tiffany and co. store in Nassau, of course she loved it
Tiny: It's funny you mentioned food, because I ate WAY too much on our cruise! I let my wife read what you wrote and she got a good laugh out of it!
To the rest of you with the kind words, thanks for taking the time to look and posting your comments
getting her to let you go coin shopping while she's punching out the first kid!
