The video in that auction shows you how... I have to slam it on a hard serface... But I dont have the ring... Maybe it'll pop out anyway... Wish me luck.. Wonder what's inside if anything...
Inside mine is a microdata device holding pictures and details of every coin in my inventory.I keep it in with all the others so it doesnt seem unusual. It would be great to have a micro tracking device but they dont make them quite that small.

It would be great to track the coin on its journey through circulation and the world!!!!------------BigE (maybe possible soon?)
Conspiracy theorists claimed in 2004 the Canadian Poppy Quarter was actually a tracking device within the special paint or whatver it was that made the poppy red.
My brother had one that was an English Penny and a Kennedy Half dollar when seperated, but the Penny's reverse was the other half of the Half dollar and when put together it was a whole half dollar. It took some practice to get them apart quickly, but it kind of a one time trick in front of people.

32GB MicroSD card would fit nicely inside a half dollar, actually.
I have some of these and I achieved some degree of success without the 'bang ring'......
Put the coin in a drinking glass about 2 1/2 inches in diameter or so. Shake the glass back and forth (enough that it makes some good noise), sometimes in a circular motion, and you just might get lucky. This is for coins like the 21 cent trick or the 1.35 miracle, or copper to silver......
A two headed or tailed coin is generally sealed together.
Try tapping it lightly to moderately lightly on a wood table, work bench. I have the magic trick myself and it comes with a plastic ring thingie that you put the coin in, slap it in the palm of your hand at it comes out. Good luck! It's a great trick. Look on ebay for "Scotch and Soda" and you'll find the trick, and maybe you could even pick up the plastic ring really cheap?

If that don't work, try saying hocus pocus.

Kind of interesting you mention magician coins. I have noticed some scammers that don't sell in the coin area of eBay (now that Ebay has tighted up coins somewhat ) and are ripping people in the magic coin area.

Not really looking for much these days but if I were, it might be a toner.
