right before my eyes, my eBay account was hacked into!

I was type-setting & word processing a proposed eBay listing, and "out of the blue" 1,298 listings "popped-up" under my account. I'm almost 99% sure it had something to do with me just signing up with "file exchange" which is a third party bulk listing service that contracts with eBay.
eBay blocked my account "stating that it seems a third party was using my account"
That got that right! LOL
It took about 1 hour on the phone with eBay to remove the 1,298 bogus listings. Plus I had to change all my passwords, "secret questions", etc. on all my accounts, just in case (eBay, Paypal, email, banks, etc.).
Can you imagine, they listed everything from Gibson guitars, to computers! Yikes! Their 'scam' was in BOLD WRITING please contact us before bidding. As they listed in large, bold, red lettering, an email address. It said something like, "we will contact you in the next 5 minutes".
So these bogus bulk listings seemed to allow 1,298 to get listed on eBay all at once, all with email addresses posted in them, and all requesting the buyer to contact the "bogus seller" off-eBay, I guess to "suck some quick money" out of them ASAP!
And this all happened in just it seemed in just a few minutes.
So now, as I'm told by eBay, all is well in the universe and it's perfectly alright to again conduct my eBay business, at my convenience;
then why do I still have that funny little "twitch in my gut"

P.S. Hopefully, eBay will get those hacking B-A-S-T-A-R-D-S.
