Head Scratcher Grade with PSA - 1986 Fleer Basketball Fakes?

Got a N4 grade on a 1986 Fleer Basketball card - the card looked 100% good to me however. I thought only the Jordan card was reprinted from that set. Were there other cards besides the Jordan that had alot of fakes/reprints? Thank you in advance for your help!

I had a Malone come back N4. I didn't even check it before I subbed because I didn't think it was a counterfeited card. I'm guessing at the very least all of the big RCs are counterfeited, and possibly the whole set.

There are several cards in this set which have been counterfeited and documented. I suggest all serious collectors pick up this book:

    Sportscard Counterfeit Detector

The first and second editions of this book was put out in the early/mid 90s by SCD, and while it can be a bit repetitive regarding what to look for, it does document the most significant counterfeited cards up to that date. I have a copy of the book in my card shop back in Hawaii and it has helped numerous customers over the years from being taken by unknowing and unscrupulous sellers - from Jordan rookies to bogus 1991 Topps Desert Shield cards.

While the internet is an endless source of information which has made collecting more enjoyable, there are many books that collectors should have in their library. I'm curious to hear what sort of reference material others have that they refer to on a regular basis.
