This is pretty funny. He thinks the caller is making a joke, so he hangs up on him. Then, later on when he's told that Al Alburquerque is an actual player, he makes up a strange excuse. link

What do you expect? He's a Detroit pitcher... it's no surprise that media doesn't know about him. They only pay half attention when we do something and they are forced to. Most commentators still can't even pronounce Avila. I know, who?

He is a joke. I never liked him even when the Mad dog was with him a few years ago. I turn the channel if he is on...

Being on Long Island I have listened to him on WFAN for MANY years ... since he first started on the station. He is VERY knowledgeable about most sports .... but he is arrogant as hell and NEVER admits to making a mistake.

If you've bet the opposite of his NFL predictions over the past few years, you probably are reading this from the French Riviera..

You're so very right. One time he went on and on with an "incredible" story about how Captain Kangaroo and Mr. Rogers were both war heroes. Little did he know that it was nothing but an urban legend. When someone finally told him, all he could say that he was surprised that a website existed for debunking urban legends.
