Opinions please on my just listed 1992 UD gold Jim thome..

Will this be his best card based on production or will the 1991's always be the best? I just listed a BGS 9.5 POP 1 1992 UD GOLD on Ebay. Let me know what Thome card will be the best.image

1991 was his year for rookie cards. Any other card is just another card.

The gold hologram on his 1992 Upper Deck card simply signifies that it came from a factory set. It's not rare.

1993 Upper Deck Gold Holograms are the ones that are tougher, as only 1 set out of a 15 set case had the golds.

If you're using production numbers to determine which card is "best", look for a Bowman Chrome Superfractor or something like that.

This is about as crazy as Bowman got in 1991:

I figured he was simply looking for the lowest print run or something. Of course, that would be for cards released 14 years AFTER his rookie card.

My bad, I thought he was talking about rookie cards. Heck I don't know, I'm sure there's a 1/1 somewhere out there. I dislike that type of thing.
