Anybody ever open a case of 1991 star pics football?

Just wondering on average how many autographs you get in a factory 20 set case? Thinking of trying to put a whole auto set together, any help appreciated.

For some reason I want to say it's only 1 auto per case.

Thx for the reply. I was hoping there were more, on the side of the one set I have, it says "there may be at least one auto in the set", making me think its possible to get more than 1 in a single set. Was kinda hoping someone possibly ripped a case, and had a concrete number. Beckett says "randomly inserted" and no more.

Prob better off just buying singles. Other than Favre I can't really imagine they would be that expensive

Yeah, I dont think I am even going to mess with em. Just thought it may be worth a shot if you got 10 or so auto's a case.

I had the unfortunate experience of buying a case back in 1991. I opened them all for lot sales and got one auto in the case. The images still haunt me. Stupid football borders.

Star Pics used to be located in MI. I bought a gold 1991 basketball draft set from a local dealer and every card had a ding. I called the company and they told me stop by their office in Farmington Hills. I went there and the receptionist took my damaged set and pulled a brand new one out of a MASSIVE stack.

Nice people. Too bad the product never took off.

I think it is hit or miss. I opened 1 case of the basketball and got 3 common players. I opened at least 1 case of the football and no autos. Anyone know how many cards each player signed? I still have a few sets of each laying around.
