I think when a coin is heavily toned like that, and the luster is not apparent on the image, it is impossible to come up with a reasonable grade.

Because the coin appears to be devoid of hits and marks, I will venture to guess at 65. It's really hard to tell though based on the pic with no idea what luster is like due to the toning.

I'm going with no star as it's too dark for NGC me thinks. I've learned that from personal experience.

Agree. Impossible to reasonably guess the grade from those pics.

I like the toning a lot and it looks pretty darn clean underneath. Looks like it could be 67 from a technical standpoint but I am unsure if the TPG knocked it back for the fingermark in the toning and the irregular streaks.

  • 66* but I really cant see the marks due to the heavy but beautiful toning. I would say it's either going to be a 66* or 67* image

    Congrats lloyd image

Looks very clean, but it's really hard to tell if there are marks hiding in the toning, especially on the reverse. I guess I'll guess 66, as I could see anything from 65-67 being plausible.

The true answer is "environmental damage," but too much money is made by trading in certified atrocities
for many to admit it. I expect the name calling to begin toward me.

I saw that on NE website. While i appreciate the scarcity of really nicely toned walkers, that tone is not my cup of tea.

Maybe in -hand I would like it better.

Like I predicted, calling opaque thick brown toning the environmental damage that it is has resulted in me being called

one "stupid" and one "nothing constructive to say."

i like it. it's hard to tell by the images, but i'll guess 64.

i think the toning is cool...it makes the coin look unique. i even like the finger print. the back is too hard to judge with just this image...

I said your comment was stupid...I never called you stupid and now I will say your illiterate becuase you clearly can not read. The toning is not brown it's red, orange, green as anyone can see etc...so I guess I could call you visually challenged or colorblind as well.

The only reason you posted was to insult someone's coin and or taste in coins which doesn't seem like a good reason at all but as I said before.....we live in America so take advantage of your freedom of speech while it lasts image
