It's hard to tell from those scans but my estimate is as follows:
Garver - 6 or 7 depending on the extent of that damage on the lower left corner Ennis - 6 Freeman - 6.5 due to notching on the right border Wilson - 7 with a chance for an 8 depending on how sharp the corners are Crandall has the best chance to 8 out of all of them. Again, I can't see the corners well enough to give a difinitive opinion. Take a 10x loupe and look for corner wear. Good luck!

Afternoon,
What he said...except is that a little corner touch/bump on the top right corner of the Wilson? If so VG-EX 4/EX 5. And I lean towards a 7 on the Crandall!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

From Wikipedia:
Wilson's 1958 baseball card, Topps No. 213, showed him in a truly bizarre pose. The company painted out the natural background of the pictures that year and, in a photo showing Wilson swinging his bat, painted the bat out of the picture too--showing Wilson looking as if his right arm were amputated a few inches below the shoulder.
I think most guys are spot on with the grades. But this post just reminds me what a good looking set '58 Topps is. If only Stan Musial had a card in it, it would've been perfect.
Buying: Topps White Out (silver) letters Alex Gordon 80 Topps Greg Pryor “No Name" 90 ProSet Dexter Manley error 90 Topps Jeff King Yellow back 1958 Topps Pancho Herrera (no“a”) 81 Topps Art Howe (black smear above hat) 91 D A. Hawkins BC-12 “Pitcher”
7 across the board except Ennis which will probably go around 6 or 6.5 which I think is pretty darn good as those 58s had the worst stock ever as far as the fronts are concerned.

Wilson=6.5
Freeman=7
Ennis=6
Garver=7
Garver==6 Bottom left corner bothers me.
Ennis==6 possibly as low as a 4.5. Bottom corners have issues and suspect scratch/bubble/wrinkle near Ennis' mouth
Freeman==6 possible lower. Looks like a rubber band mark on the right border
Wilson==7 Maybe a 7.5 depending on the corners. Always loved the messed up picture on that card.
Crandall==8 Best of the bunch.
Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12
