Help identifying this Cassius Clay Card

Does anyone know what this card is? Who manufactured it and what year. Its interesting because its the same picture that is in the 65 lampo and 66 panini card.

I've seen it before but not sure where it came from.... adam warshaw should know. He wrote a book on boxing cards, the best checklist out there.

Well what ever this was it sold for 400 hundred bucks even with the crease... I was thinking I could scoop it up for less than 50. I only wanted it because I thought it was cool that it had the uncropped pic from the lampo and 66 panini. Now I want to know more about it. These early Ali cards seem to be really picking up steam. I just got the 66 valida back in the mail. There is some glue and paper on the back but I hope it grades a 3 or better. The rest of the card is pretty sharp an well centered. I couldn't believe the valida in a pretty low bgs grade sold for over a g a few months ago.

Apparently these were part of a 4 card panel and handcut. A full panel recently sold on ebay for 1700 bucks. The seller added some pretty good info in his description identifying the card. Pretty big price tag for a card that isn't graded by any of the big 3 grading companies and its handcut card issued 2 years after his first handcut card. Maybe it sold for so much because its the first card to use that image. Here is what the seller wrote. I would put a link to the auction but don't know how from my phone.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
  • I found this as well with some info that claims it was issued in 1967

    Perfetti Cassius Clay

Not too sure that the date of this is, i'd be surprised if it's as early as the auction for the uncut panel claims (1960 or 1962) as it also features Michael Caine who didn't have his breakthrough movies until 1964-1966 but thats just an educated guess.
