Can't Reply to Message Using IE. Red X

Last night in the firefox thread I posted that I was intalling a new I7 Quadcore Hyper drive warp engine and that it was lightning fast with Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) to I was going to try to avoid using 3rd party browsers.

Well the good news lasted one night. This morning I downloaded and installed 54 updates to Windows 7 and now I get a red X in the reply box and can't add text. I'm posting from Chrome now.

I have experienced this in the past and I thought the fix was to relax internet security settings until the x goes away. I haven't been successful with that this time.

One of the updates was IE9. I uninstalled that and went back to IE8, still red x so it must be another update causing the problem.

Any suggestions?

In the meantime the new IE works better with Paypal Multiorder shipping streamlining printing glitches with packing slips that the previous one had.

Finally, I can have music playing in the background, Virus scan running, and doing normal websurfing all at the same time and notice no noticable slowness. I also can rotate a 3 Megapixel image in an instant.

For those of you using an old computer, I recommend you upgrade to increase your enjoyment. Those of you considering a $400 to $500 computer, think about an $800 computer and move faster though life while reducing frustration. Also, I expect the next upgrade will be put off a while.
