Am I just noticing that the 2009 Lincoln Cent has a small "of". Why was this done this way?

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then question the manner in which I provide it. I prefer you said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand to post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!

<< <i>That's it, basically. The designer chose to do it that way. Gasparro's Lincoln cent memorial reverse is that way, as is Sinnock's Franklin half reverse. >>
True, but the small "of" is only on the Presidential Years coins. The Birth Years, Formative Years and Professional Years all have an uppercase "OF".
Interesting.
The name is LEE!
