Vintage baseball packs on Ebay, thoughts?

Comments

  • To quote the seller..." THIS IS VERRY RARE wax PACK 1952 SELLING AS IS SELLING ALL THESE PACKS FOR A SOMEONE

ELS DON'T NO MUCH ABOUT CARDS . HE SAID HE ASKED 2 CARD DEALERS ABOUT THIS PACK 1 SAID PACK SAID NEVER OPENED AND 1 SAD IT HAS BEEN OPENDEND"

That's enough for me to run away without even looking at the pack.

The best pitch to start a hitter off with is always strike one.

By the misspellings alone, I would stay clear. How can they have that many feedbacks and list such terrible auctions?

He's also got listed a "RARE 1975 Topps wax pack Basktball GIA NM-MT+

You know the GIA packs are much more rare than the usual GAI packs.....

He does seem to sell a lot of coins, graded and not graded, so I would guess he took these in on consignment from someone and simply doesn't know it they have been tampered with or not.
