I've got a few random autographed things lying around that I'd like to move to make room for more signed rookie cards. Paypal will be the method of payment, you pickup the paypal fees. If you need a couple months layaway on something, that's fine with a 25% non-refundable deposit.
1st up is a Roger Maris autographed PSA/DNA 1979 Topps Leaders card where he is pictured with Hank Aaron (not signed by Aaron yet). Card presents well, but has a pinhole, thus the grade of 1. Would make an excellent project card to get signed by Aaron and then reslabbed as "authentic" without a grade. $395.00
Next up is a vintage mid 80's signature of the legendary Michael Jordan. How often do you see a Jordan sig where you can actually read some letters of his name? More importantly, how often do you see a PSA/DNA authenticated readable Jordan? PSA/DNA charges $100 to authenticate Jordan, so naturally, this one isn't cheap. $275.00
The next piece is a neat item. It is an authentic Mickey Mantle autograph that has been turned into a nice souvenir of the 1952 Topps Mantle. This is one that Doran made for me. The autograph came from Jim Stinson sports and I back it with a lifetime money back guarantee of authenticity. Please note the tape stain by the autograph, and the spot to the upper left of Mickey's head in the background (when I got it back from Doran, there was some foreign matter in that spot and I tried to remove it, but instead removed some of the background, LOL) This piece is much larger than a standard sized card, would make a magnificent piece to frame. $250
Next up is Hank Aaron autographed ball that has been Steiner authenticated. Please note that there is toning on the ball as shown in the pics. Please make sure you see the toning. I've mentioned it, and shown it clearly in the pics, so don't have false expectations. Signature is nice as shown, and still a great item of whom I consider to be the true Home Run King. SOLD
Thats it for now, I might post up some more stuff later depending on how industrious I get today. Guys/gals, please don't tell me you are taking an item and then I hold it for you for a month or two and then you don't pay. That's not cool, and I don't appreciate the wasting of my time with that. Therefore, I'm happy to work with you if you need terms, but it will require a 25% non-refundable deposit.

One of the most dominant basketball players of all time, and was one of the hardest autographs to obtain until the early 90's or so, when Rich Altman started booking him for autograph shows. Now, if you are willing to pay for it, he'll sign about anything, but the price has to be right. This is a nice, vintage cut on an American Airlines flight jacket that has been PSA/DNA slabbed. Nice, bold sig that would look great framed.
Next up is one of the hardest modern basketball players to get an authentic autograph from. Known for his surliness towards collectors. The great Knickerbocker, Patrick Ewing. This one is a signed receipt that has been PSA/DNA slabbed.

If anyone of you has St. Louis Cardinals World Series tickets for Games 1 or 2, and want to trade a pair for Rangers World Series tickets for Game 3. I would be interested in doing that. I'd love to have the chance to follow the Rangers for the Series and if you are a Cards fan that wants to travel as well, then it would be a fun swap.
Of course, deal would be contingent on both teams making it. Not interested in Brewers World Series tickets as I don't want to drive that far (I don't care for flying).

<< <i>Wow, World Series tickets sold in 6 minutes on StubHub so they are no longer available.Mike >>
Mike ... how does Stub-Hub work in the case where a game may not be played. ie. Face value is $100.00. You sell on Stub-Hub for $500.00. Do you get paid right away? How does purchaser get the money back from you if game is never played? Thanks.
BTW ... did you travel to the stadium or was the game called before you started your traveling?

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Doug, this is the first time I used their service. Was 15% commission, buyer has to pay immediately, Stub Hub pays me in 2-5 business days via paypal (paypal doesn't take any fees on funds received from StubHub). If game is never played, purchaser gets their money back from Stub Hub via a credit back to their procurement card they used to purchase with, and Stub Hub gets their money back from me via procurement card I used to register with I believe.
I didn't travel up to the game today as I found out about 2:30 this afternoon after waking up from my nap that the game was postponed until tomorrow. Now I get to play hooky from work tomorrow afternoon

Hey ... tomorrow just go to the courthouse and tell them your Italian friend from New Yawk said EVEYBODY should be off on Columbus Day. FUGGHEDABOUDIT!
