A couple of new "high hopes" submits.....

Over the years I've gone through dozens of British proof sets in trying to put together some nice PCGS registry sets.

It's not as easy as it might appear to find clean, well struck, hairline, carbon and ugly toning free examples. PCGS is very
tough on them in higher grades and with the "modern" proofs they'd better be danged near perfect to get into the 66-67 range.

Here are a couple I sent in recently that have the kind of color I love and also qualifies necessary, I think, to achieve those levels.

I'm a little concerned about the darker areas on the reverse of the florin but I'm not about to mess with it even though they
might bring it down a point or so.

Without the toning the Elizabeth would be, I believe, a lay down CAM or DCAM.

Anyway, if interested I'll let you know how they grade.

Thanks for checking.....

Those are choice examples, John. I think you will be pleased with the grades. PR66 for both of them.
