Book Value and other irritations
I can't stand it when the "book value" is in the description of any card I'm looking to purchase. This is an instant turn off for me. Usually the book value stated is for a card several grades higher. Why do people do this? I just move on. A close second would be some sappy sentimental story which I really couldn't care less about. Just curious, what words or descriptions on ebay listings make your blood boil?

Keyword spamming is irritating, and conveniently forgetting to mention in the title that the PSA graded card you are selling has a qualifier is also irritating.
The 'sappy, sentimental story' is a huge red flag to me. The more you tell me about how you came into possession of the card/cards, the less likely it is that you're ever going to see any of my money.

Agreed. I see that alot with the 1933 Sport Kings cards I am trying to collect. The BIN prices are, for the most part, obscene. They just sit, and sit........and sit.........I guess they are hoping for the one time whale to come along and pay their bloated prices (The whale came along right before the National - maybe he had a buyer already lined up?)
