  • Though I'm not familiar with topps football or a pro grader I'll venture a guess. top 2 corners very slighly touched. Slight tilt/diamond cut. A little snowy. I would say 7-8. Just my opinion. There are many others here on these boards that are much much better at grading then I

I pulled one straight out of the pack on one of the group rips. It looked alot like this one. With that being said, I am guessing it is the same grade that mine graded. PSA 6. Maybe a PSA 7, but I am thinking 6.

  • Now here is the deal. I just got this in from All Star Sports Cards today. They have a 7 day return policy and I am thinking of asking them to replace it with another version. I just was not happy as soon as I got it. The diamond cut plus the top left corner is very soft.

I don't want to be a pr*ck but since I never saw a photo (just a purchase off the catalogue listing) I knew I was taking a chance. I really like getting their catalogue so I placed this order when they had the 10% off anniversary special. $114 dlvd. I have never returned a card to any auction house or seller before due to condition.

If I do exchange it, I will probably order something from the flyer they inserted in the box so it might actually work out for them. Plus this way they don't have the extra shipping cost. Rambling now... Thanks guys!

    Exactly.

  • A psa 9 is very generous! Wouldn't look out of place in a Psa 8.5 holder though IMHO
The seller definitely needs to honor the 7 day return policy in this situation... He can always send back to Psa and they can grade it a half point lower and return the difference in price to him?
    Am i correct on this?

  • The top left corner is worse in person than the scan shows. I think I will call them tomorrow.

Just as a PSA, I called All Star and they agreed to exchange it for another version no questions asked. Very professional service. I went ahead and bought another card from them in the process.

Now THAT is how customer service SHOULD be handled.

Nice Grade but definetly not more than an 7 or 8 at best.
