Thank you Jawa2600!! What an amazing community...

Well Im not sure where to begin or what to say. I find it easiest to just say Thank You!! But there is so much more inside that I want to say and words just seem so uselss sometimes. Well a few days ago a posted a thread where the 1st part of my package from Jawa2600, well it might not seem like much to you guys, this is like totaly the collest stuff and the greatest present I think I have aver recieved, definately the greatest gift from some one I barely know.

Well what makes it even better is that tomorow is my birthday, so this morning I found a slip from the post office, knowing the Jawa had sent something, and he refused to tell me what was inside, I just had to get to the post office. So I waited and eventually asked my boss if I could take and hour off to walk to the post office( I sold my car last week to book a flight in an atempt to secure a canadian work visa(Im still waiting to hear about it) and I had damaged my foot rather badly playing football on the weekend) so I walked with my limp and all, aching foot and got a 1$ taxi to the post office picked up my package and was back at work 45 minutes later with a package in hand and a racing heart.

I put the box down and immeditaly email Jawa2600 and let him know it had arrived saftly, I was so nervous and excited to see what was inside, and after about 30min couldnt hold out any longer and cracked the box open.

At first I didnt know where to look ...... after few seconds my eyes settled firmly on this: Psa 1986 topps Walter PAyton - After starring at in blankly for about 5 minutes I finally came to the realisation of what I was holding. Btw this is my 1st PSA card ever, I had been thinking for a while on how I would get my hands on one, I still amazed by the whole thing, Ive never seen a PSA exncased card in my life let alont my favorite player, The Great Walter PAyton!!!!

After that I found there 3 beauties sitting in the box... I literally dont have words....

some more of the goodies that were in the box....

And then the rest of the pics would not upload right now so there are 3 1965(i think) topps football cards I imeaditaly recognised these as they are the style of card I requested in my sig(Below) and had them modiefied to show Bob, Julius, Nelson and Demarcus. Anyways I had picked them because I went into ebay and found the most expensive football cards to use as a template, and then to find 3 of these puppies just laying in there, just golden... We have Jarry Cornelson of the Kansas City, Kieth Lincoln of Sandieogo and Dee Mackey of New York, crazy stuff will throw the picks up as soonas I can get it working...

And then there were some sealed packs which will fit in great with what I believe to be Africas biggest sealed colection image

I am not 100% sure what this stuff is so here is what I found:

3- packs of Assorted subjects picture cards and gum - made by tops
1990 score hockey
2x close encounters of the 3rd kind movie photo cards
Mork and Mindy( never heard of this)
and moonraker 007 - this stuff looks old...

Anyways here are the pics of the other stuff that JAwa sent that arived last week:

I cant even tell you how cool I think this book is- really helpfull for when opening packs and you have no idea what your looking for!!

And then these uncut sheets, gonna get em framed...

First let me say that was a verey nice gesture. There are certainly some nice folks here. Second, Happy Birthday. Are you wanting to move to Canada or just stay for a certain time for employment? It seems strange to see someone in Africa being an American football fan. Have you been here before and moved to Africa. In other words are you an American African?

Yes it is an amazing gesture, I still cant believe it!!! As far as your questions,

I moved briefly to the USA, VT in 2006/2007 and spnt around 6 months working at a ski resort in Vermont(Stratton Mountain, I operated the Gondola). It was an amazing adventure and I really fell in love with snowboarding and travelling.. What I would like is to be able to work and live in northern America freely, I have attempted to get another USA work visa and this is no easy task, I have basically given up hope of getting to the US unless im swimming across the Rio grande image

Anyways I decided I wanted to get back to that side of the world, just for instance the minimum wage here is about $500 a month, with a large portion of the population living off less than that, not to mention how hard it is to even find a job here in the first place with the unemployment rate through the roof, this country simply has too many people for the amount of jobs and that is before you start factoring in the rest of Africa which is slowly making its way down to South Africa in search of a better life and possibility of jobs.

So I sent my resume off to about 50 resorts in Canada, and luckily 1 came back to me offering a job, so I am now in the process of applying for a work visa. Hopefully I can get to Canada, marry a beautiful woman, and settle down, I think that would be the #1 goal, I really need to find some way to be able to extend the visa of stay there permanently cause there is not allot to come back to in South Africa.

So in response to the last part of your question, I am born and bred here in Africa, and Ive been playing madden NFL on PC and xbox since 1999 is the earliest NFL game I can remember owning, although I am still learning the ins and outs of the sport as well as not understanding certain rules. But I do love this NFL, I play soo much madden ATM, I would definitely constitute as one of the best non-american players...lol anyways thanks again Jawa and everyone else who is a nice person around here...

    peace & love

Great gesture, Jawa - and great story, Craig! You are correct - there are some very good-hearted and generous people on these boards.

Good luck with that football collection of yours. Do you collect any other players?

Ive held off answering this as Im not sure what to say, I think it would be best to just say I am not 100% sure of what I am collecting... By the way I checked out your site and your videos, your kinda like a celebrity in my books.. haha

It kinda hard for me, not having heard of players before, If i have never heard of a player, its just impossible, so as I learn about players I kinda become interested. Since watching the Complete history of the Bears, I became quiet interested in quiet a few of there great players, namely WAlter PAyton, other than that these are my favourite players currently in the NFL. Im literally learning everyday...

    Current NFL players:
    Ware
    Peppers
    Ricky Williams
    Ray LEwis
    Aso
    REvis

then Im kinda interested in players Ive heard of, so I would like to look at getting at least 1 card for each of the following players:

    Rice
    Sanders
    Smith
    Singeltary
    Butkis
    Montana
    Elway
Marino - I think this is where I would like to go now, possibly buy a few cheap cards of these geezas...

Anyways as i say I am learning allot basically everyday...

    Thanks again guys!!

    peace
