OT: What is this Pittsburgh Pennant?

Anyone know if the pennant in this postcard is a Pittsburgh Pirates? I can't find anything like it online.

I thought it could possibly be from a high school or college. I couldn't find any early baseball pennants even close to style of this one. Also, the font on the "P" is unlike any Pirates logo I could find but my resources are limited.

    Perhaps University of Pittsburgh?
Collector of 1976 Topps baseball for some stupid reason.
Collector of Pittsburgh Pirates cards for a slightly less stupid reason.

19th century Pirates is my guess.

    Good for you.

Between 1890-1911 the city of Pittsburgh was spelled without the "h" at the end. So I imagine this is after 1911.

If the link doesn't work go to sportslogos.net. It looks like that P was used by the Bucs from 1915-1919

I don't know about the logo styles or anything but what about the Pitt Panthers?
