I've used a Fisher 1266-X since the fall of 1995. I bought a Fisher CZ-70 in 2004. I just couldn't get use to it so I went back to the 1266. Well today my wife let me out at the park while she went shopping. I walked to my spot turned the machine on and no sound. I gave her a quick call to come back. I just figured it was the batteries. Later when we got home I put new batteries in and still no sound. Anyone with some ideas what the problem might be?
I got the CZ-70 out and still can't figure it out and I can't find my owners manuel. Could be a fun week.

If you haven't found it yet, here's a link for the owners manual:

No sound would seem to be a battery or loose wire problem. Good luck.
