BEWARE OF FRAUDULENT PAYPAL EMAIL

I just rec'd a phony email that truly looked like it was from Paypal, stating your security may have been breached, etc. ,etc. - It had a link to web page asking to change all sorts of security info., but also asked for soc. sec. # and credit card info. TOTALLY PHONY. Of course I just contacted Paypal and they said it was a scam, and had me forward the email to their security dept. Apparently this occurs with some frquency and they are trying to catch the culprits. They just want your personal info. for their use/gain.

When I checked the details of who sent the email, it actually read Paypol.com - dead give away right there.

ALso, Paypal informed me they offer an extra security measure which is a card, like a debit card size thing that has a button that produces a code of four random #'s when depressed. U use that code whenever logging in, for security, so never can be breached. They said it cost $30, but they would waive the fee for me. Gee thanks!

Just beware - so many idiot scammers out there trying to commit fraud.
