1991 Topps Desert Shield Wax Box

I cannot figure out how to post the completed link, but after seeing this pack sell for $78.00 on ebay, I wonder what this would sell for?

Steve and I just bought some of these boxes/packs the other week. Apparently, the only way you can tell is by opening the packs, because Topps did not distinguish the wrappers/box in any way. Sounds pretty dumb of Topps to do so, but let's remember, they just make product, and the development team/executives that work there are mostly not collectors.

i think its also important to keep in mind that the whole premise behind DS was for them to be given away free to military fighting over there. Looking at it from that point of view, i could see why topps just wanted to print them up, package them, and ship them asap, not worrying about the packaging. Another thought is that topps wasnt interested in glamorizing themselves with fancy packaging
