3 Commems FSH: Maine, Lexington (old ANACS MS63), Stone Mountain (NGC MS64)
Long story short, these three pieces were sold on eBay about 6 weeks ago, but a buyer in China gave me a bad address and the package came back. The buyer doesn't understand the problem and file a non-receipt claim, so I'm canceling that transaction and would like to just recover the sale price without having to relist. Shipping is included in the listed prices (the prices listed here are lower than the eBay close+s/h), and you can pay with any form of modern money (PayPal, Check, MO = good; Goats, Chickens, Elephant Tusks = bad)
1920 MAINE CENTENNIAL COMMEMORATIVE HALF AU--$74.50
A flashy, untoned piece. It appears that the coin has been very lightly wiped.

1925 ANACS MS63 LEXINGTON COMMEM HALF DOLLAR NICE COLOR--$73.75
A lovely piece with light lustre and varying shades of light toning.

1925 NGC MS64 STONE MOUNTAIN COMMEM HALF DOLLAR--$127.50
A very lustrous piece with light golden toning and clean surfaces for the grade.

Hey, elephant tusks are ivory, man! Whatsamatter with that?
Yeah, I know. It's not politically correct anymore. And it's disgusting what elephant poachers do. But when I was a kid, Dad had a giant, five-foot-long narwhal tusk propped up in the corner of the living room. That was really cool. Like a unicorn horn. (That's what they sold 'em as in the Middle Ages.) And the narwhal had been killed more than a century earlier, probably during the whaling days, so it wasn't like a recent crime or anything.
But I digress.
That Stone Mtn. is tempting. Too bad it's in a different kind of plastic than I'd like. (I'm quite the Kool-Aid drinker these days and want to build up some more PCGS stuff in my collections, though NGC of course is the exclusive slabber of my Roman coins.)
Looks like a nice coin and I'm casually thinking it over.
