PSA removal of cards from cardsaver?

random, but do they cut the cardsaver holder? how do they take out a submitted cards, since its not inconceivable if they pull it out that it gets damaged on the removal.

. . . or maybe needle-nosed pliers to speed up the process
  • The card should be in a thin sleeve, so they would just pull the thin sleeve out of the card saver. The card shouldn't be damaged in the process.

What do they do with all of those card savers? I'd love to get mine back...

I thought they sliced the side in order to more easily extract the card. Did I make that up?

1 finger and 1 thumb. Sometimes 2 fingers and 1 thumb.

...I thought some of my slabs smelled funny
  • I thought they recycled the card savers into PSA slabs.

Also if you watch the PSA video you will see how they remove cards from card savers. Bare handed.

...which is why I always use soft sleeves, especially on modern cards.
