    Any unopened Baseball cello and rack packs and boxes from the 1970's and early 1980s.

    Nickname:
    Named Pilots because of Seattle's location on the Pacific Ocean where sailing is a favorite past time.

    Logo:
    A Red Sailor's wheel with golden wings on each side a baseball in the center with Pilots written between the stitches.

    Hat:
    Blue with a yellow S and a line running the entire front of the cap. On the rim of the cap are two scrambled egg designs.

    This is another painful lesson in the pitfalls of ripping vintage packs. Fun though. Good luck with the rest. Hopefully the QC manager got their act together for the other packs.

    As much as I enjoy watching this thread, it pains me to see such pristine packs torn open like that...this box is definitely a fully original box, too, imo (i.e. not pieced together). I', really hoping you can pull a run of centered gem mint commons or mint star cards!


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
