Does SGC know how to grade this issue??

I was just looking for opinions. It is my opinion that these cards are SEVERELY undergraded! They came from a vending box, and have really sharp corners and no surface wrinkles or anything like that........just wanted to see what respected collectors thought....

Check the backs, Bobby. They tend to have spider wrinkles on the back when they're graded in that range while looking sharp on the front. You may have to angle them in the light top to bottom and/or side to side to see them. The same thing happens on a lot of 1961 Post baseball...

Thanks Scott. I will check the backs out. They are blank, but I will see what is up.

Dave - these are called Mutoscopes. Back in the 40's, they were considered risque. These 3 are actually pretty tame, but typical of what mutoscopes look like. The "money" card for Mutoscopes has the woman totally naked with certain body parts obscured by a sign.

  • For that issue THIS is considered the key card...

Edit add: Bobby beat me to it LOL...
