O/T - Tragic crash in Reno Plane Races

GRAPHIC!!!! This LINK shows the plane crashing and exploding. Looks like 25 are confirmed dead and another 50 or so injured. They are all in my prayers.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

    Why these continue I have no idea. That's at least the second air show tragedy in a month and they happen at least once a year. STUPID STUPID STUPID and scar people for life.....

    Agree ... so dangerous ... one good thing ... it seems like the earlier report of 25 deaths was over stated. Now they are saying 3 killed, but MANY severely injured.

    Just to be clear, the Reno Air Races aren't an air show... they are as their name suggests, a race, with airplanes. Obviously people enjoy going to them, and the pilots enjoy flying in them, and that is why they continue. I've been to at least 50 air shows in my life and have never witnessed any tragedy.

    If you search "Reno airplane crash" in utube. there will be one that hasn't been removed.
