"Emergency" 1970 Pack Rip...

So I did a video and I got a message that it was too long (!!) for Youtube. But it doesn't matter anyway...

The pack turned out to be Series 1 from 1970 - who wants that?? Unless you are looking for badly centered Steve Renko cards. The Clemente poster was nifty though.

Without furtjer adieu, these were the highlights from the pack that was supposed to satiate my desire to rip the Hi-Number BOX!

Reggie Smith was a batting leader??

This was about the best centered card in the pack.

Only interesting because I always seem to get John Boccabella cards. Thank god I exorcised the John Boccabella demon in this dry run pack.

So that leaves me with this...which will torture me at night until I open it. I will have to pay far more in counseling than this box will return on my investment.

Also, if you stop and think - there will be a lot more PSA 9 and 10 Hi-Numbers surfacing in the next ten years. I want in now.

Sweet, lookit those corners. I'm liking the 70 set more and more.

Edited to say back then the Expos announcer would say "now at bat JOHN BOKE-A-BEYA".

    "Molon Labe"

Just opened the poster...it's not Clemente...it's ROY WHITE...oh the humanity!

And it ripped when I opened it too.

PSA 10 ryan! I feel it!! Either bury it 10 feet in your back yard or open it.

Either that thing goes into a safe where only your wife knows the combo, or it won't survive the night.

Just waiting with my friend for the show to start. It's only a matter of time I'm afraid.

photobucket can't keep up with the demand for the images. Would suggest you open an imageevent.com site, I've been really happy with them for 5 years and the images never go away or exceed bandwidth requirements.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's
