Is this correct? Krause has this 1979 Onza variety listed at $2500

Is this a typo? I have the 36th edition. Maybe a missed decimal point? I would love it to be correct though

Maybe a proof 1979 Onza, but certainly not a business strike.
I don't understand your photo. Dual reverse?

They are two different varieties. Look where the pan points to the U in una. The one that points to the U directly is supposedly an expensive piece

Oh, now I see it.
No, it's not a rare variety.

Oh well! Missed decimal I suppose. Picked them up for silver this morning so no loss.

I can check my other references (such as Buttrey-Hubbard or older Krauses) when I get home this weekend.
I don't remember which variety is "better," but neither is rare.

Krause 38th edition shows both varieties at $22.00 each. They must have been priced before the rise in silver to $40+.

Thanks. One was listed at 25.00 the other at 2500 in my edition - so it was a typo (missing decimal)
