Please take a look at this card - opinions wanted

sorry for the bad scan (not mine).

Can any of you see any surface flaws on this? I just cant tell. thanks, Bob

    Bob ... I think it is too hard to look for a surface flaw from that picture. Many times it's hard to tell even from a great scan. The card does present well (gotta LOVE that centering) but because of the rounded corners I think a "4" was the correct grade. I'd love to own that card at the "4" price.

    There's a scratch on the back thru the word "certainly", maybe that's what you're looking for?

    I only saw what jim saw. That is a beautiful well centered 4. I like it.

    I think it's a nice looking card overall and has been said, it's tough to see any specific flaws....but I also think PSA was generous on the corners. They look rounded and more like VG-3 (at least from the pics presented).

    I agree. I am guessing that card would be a PSA 3 if I submitted it. Any higher of a grade than that, then you are paying a premium for the flip.

    Well, Was waiting for the seller to change from a bin to an auction, he did, I won. I agree, a little soft on the corners, but I think I did alright. About a hndo under average, paid close to 3 $. Stoked.

    Thanks for the reassuring comments. These last 5 or 6 mantle cards I need for the basic set are a slow row.

    Congrats! I am still not sure what the flip says and what you paid, but if you love the card, then that is alright! I like the centering, and the corners show true, honest "love". Nice vintage card!
