Hooray for eBay!!!

Seriously. Over the last 30 days I have had tremendous luck. I guess some of it is do to people parting with things due to financial reasons but without eBay I may not have had a shot at the stuff. Besides picking up things that just do not show up that often I have also been picking up some very tough items at soft prices. These last 30 days have really made my year so far. It has been like late 90's eBay all over again. I know we all have a bone to pick with eBay at times but not today image

good on ya YBF. let's see some cards. image
  • Would love to share all but I just can't seem to get scanner time anymore. My little boy who just turned 2 is trying to climb on top of my head as I type this. I now have my business office at home just so I can spend as much time with him as possible. Any time I have when he is sleeping or playing nicely is used to make money. I scored lots of tough vintage but one of my most interesting scores was 3 shoe boxes full of Venezuelan cards from the 60's. Some guy in South America listed them in the strangest place and they went for pretty much nothing.

That's good news for ya, but everything I'm trying to get a good buy on, never sells for a bargain price it seems.image

yea, that's true, the best deals I've ever got off ebay have been vintage cards incorrectly described...of course it's something ya can't really look for...I always found them looking for non-collectible items just for the home, clicked on other items the seller had for sale or auction, and just got lucky and saw these other cards.
  • ah. South America, huh.

Luck always helps. I am always doing specific keyword searches trying to hunt that stuff out. I do fairly well on a regular basis.

Just that one score came from there. The rest came from the US and Canada.
  • Ebay is doing something like 150 free listings (if you used up your 50 free ones and are eligible for that) today only so I imagine you'll see a bunch of things today.
  • You got me excited... I thought EBay stock was making a move...darn.
