Another Reason Why This Site Is Great (Starting a New Set)

I collect things. I don't know why I do, but I do. At times in my life, it has been difficult to get what I wanted. As recently as 15 years ago, if you wanted to build a set, you had to go to shows and shops digging through common bins and the like.

More recently eBay and the other more card centric sites like Beckett, Sportslots, COMC & ThePit along with psacard.com have made collecting much easier. For whatever reason, I've always got my ideas for my latest collection from threads here. And the great thing about that is I've also been able to acquire a lot of my cards for those collections from the great people here as well.

So I was reading through some old threads and decided to build a 1986-87 Fleer Basketball Set In Straight PSA 8s. I put a message on the BST forum, and within 3 days, I'm already half done with it just from buying off of members here. It's a great group where you can use PayPal gift and not worry about your money and you know your cards will be packed the right way.

If you're looking for a place to grow your collection, know you'll get a fair deal on your purchases, and are avoiding the PWE type seller, I can think of no better place to be than right here.

The good outweighs the bad here. I can't recall a bad transaction I've had on these boards. If I have had one, it's been too long to remember. image Thanks to shouldabenna for turning me on to this site several years ago. Great people.

    Thanks,

    Whatever weirdo.
  • vlad- if you're gonna quote me please get it right.
  • I have to chime in with "ditto". I have not had a bad transaction on these boards. They are always simple deals that you do not have to worry about.
