Chicago Sun Times show Nov 18 - 20 (autograph pavilion)

I will be attending the Chicago Mounted Memories Suntimes show Nov.18-20. I would be happy to help anyone get there items signed at the show. I will only take cards, flats (up to 11x14), baseballs, and hockey pucks. All I ask is that you include a SASE, money order, and instructions on what color you would like your item signed in. I will be using blue Staedtler Lumocolor permanent markers for cards, Sharpies for photos, blue ball point pens for baseballs, and silver sharpie's for hockey pucks unless you request something different. Please send me a PM if you are interested in getting something signed and I will send you my info.

WOW John ... that's some lineup! Very nice of you to offer to get items signed for board members.
    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

great lineup although the Bill White @ $59 leaves me scratching my head a tad (same pricing as HOFer Frank Robinson)

The Banks at 69 bucks is cheaper than most shows that I have seen. I have one item I have wanted him to sign and I just might need to break my rule of not paying for autographs to getthis one signed at that price. Its a one of a kind photo that has numerous other autos on it that is just begging for Earnie's signature.
I am on a budget and I am not afraid to use it!!

Yes, and actually not bad of a price considering how difficult it is to get Maddux to sign. Well, at least up until this point in time... over priced if as a retiree he'll now be on the signing circuit doing 100's of thousands of signatures over the next decade or two, or three!

Not to mention, $179 is a little tough to swallow for a goofy G and a weird seizure-like scribble. I'd pay it in a heartbeat if he actually signed his name.

there is a boardmember over @ SCN offering the following pricing for Maddux... I think he has a backroom deal with the promoter of the show to get sigs done.

    Cards: $95

    Tickets, 8x10s, Magazines, 11x14s and Balls: $105

    16x20s: $115

Pitching Rubbers, Mini Helmets, Caps, Bats, Flats larger than 16x20: $150

  • Does Steve Carlton do a lot of shows? There is a poster I had of him and Mike Schmidt when I was a kid that I am going to track down a copy of and get both he and Schmidt to sign. If anyone has it for sale, its the one with Schmidt and Carlton titled MVP and Cy
Here is a link to one that is a card and not the poster.

The Greg Maddox price seems insane to me but I think it is smart for Willie Mays to charge a lot. He knows the items are instantly valuable and if he charges to low eventually there is enough of his auto's in circulation that you can get one in the secondary market for less then a new signed item.

I have not scouted out what his auto's bring but I would imagine you could easily get your money back on a nice copy of a signed card that has been authenticated.
