I heard about that. Let's hope this one goes better!

Also - I heard from the guys that are putting this on yesterday - they said there are still two tables left, if anyone is interested in setting up.

Bumping. I'd love to see a local card show with all of the tables sold, and some decent traffic.

  • FYI:

I did attend today and alerted Leon of Net 54 fame who walked around as well. Leon will be doing what he can to help publicize the local show.

As of 1 PM when I left; they had had according to the promoter about 50 people walk through the door which was not bad considering the lack of lead time and lack of publicicity which will be changing.

The October show will be listed (is listed) in the Beckett show calendar and I'm sure the show can expand a bit in the near future as people see that this promoter will be in for the longer haul.

I picked up a few things and enjoyed my time and meeting the dealers

Dang. I missed this. Would it have been worth an hours drive? What type of material did the dealers have?

It was the promoter's first show - so it wasn't that big, but they had a great turnout and had a nice variety of items. They're doing another show next month, and i think it'll be significantly bigger with a Beckett listing.
