Any chance this Jordan could cross into a 9 slab?

Centering is because back is like 75/25 t/b. I can work on a scan of the back, but I don't think that has any issues for a 9 - more worried about the front potentially meeting '9' criteria. No - I will not be heartbroken if your honest opinion is 'no'. I have graded only a handful of these so not sure how to read them yet.

    It appears to be PSA 9 worthy. I'm hoping the right edge 'anomaly" is the result of the scan as that would be my primary area of concern...

    Even if I pulled this from the pack myself, I'd be scared PSA would grade it trimmed with that right side.

    keep the card in the bgs holder. i would also worry about the left edge.

    I agree with the concerns about the left edge. I am also kind of surprised that it got a 9 for corners; the bottom two corners look a little white.

    I would not try to cross it over.

    Thanks for the input, gents. I would never crack it, but will think twice and re-examine closely before spending a few bucks on a crossover attempt.

    8.5 to a 9 is so close that I bet if you sent it in 3 times you would probably get a 9 1. But you would have to take it out of the case. I have a 9 Barkley that looks like yours but its graded by SGC. I think yours is better. Very nice card no matter what in that grade range!
    Edit to add after looking at it again. 8 for centering looks way harsh. Id say 1 in 2 it grades a 9 now.
