First Submission-Grades Are In
Eight coins and six surprises. Overall came back better than expected. I was particularly surprised on the proof Walker. I thought for sure it was at most a 62. Also got a nice surprise on the Franklin, I thought it might come back in a body bag for artificial toning, wasn't expecting a cameo. A little disappointed on the 1896 dollar, the commem, and the 1898 nickel, though. Looks like I have a lot to learn.

Not really looking for much these days but if I were, it might be a toner.
<< <i>What were you expecting on the 1896 dollar? 64 is not bad. >>
I thought it was a solid 65 and possibly a 66.
<< <i>Getting grades back feels like Christmas to me when I was a little kid.
... except for those times that it feels like the Christmas after dad lost his job, the well went dry, and the milk cow died. A whole pile of "genuine" can be a really interesting learning experience. I'd say the OP did pretty darn good.
That 1950 is a definate winner. Nice score. Still need that one for my cameo set.
