Passing from a Baseball Moment in Time

A good man and a client of mine, Britt Gaston, passed away in his hometown of Waycross, Georgia on Saturday after a long battle with illness. He was 55. Britt was likely best known for running after Hank Aaron with his friend Cliff Courtney after Aaron launched his historic HR passing Babe Ruth.
He had never spoken to Hank Aaron until last year when at the invitation of Aaron and the Braves they got together with Cliff Courtney at Turner Field and talked. Also signed some items for Hank Aaron's charity. The class shown by Aaron and the Braves really meant alot to Britt.
I asked him once if he got in any real trouble for running out there. Apparently just with his dad who had taken them to the game. After they got arrested and hauled downtown his dad had to leave the game and go get them. Being at the old Fulton County Stadium, they had paid to park in someone's yard and since he was leaving early, he was double parked trapped in the yard until the game was over. So his dad was boiling over by the time he got to the jail hours later.

To answer another question Britt is on the infield side of Aaron and his friend is on the outfield side.
