PLEASE - No edits to your 1900-Present Type Sets!!

Hi Everyone,

I am up to my elbows trying to get the new 20th Century Type sets done. This is a very complicated and tedious process, therefore, I am asking everyone to NOT make any edits to your set until you see it live again on the website.

Last night I finished making all the updates to all the registered sets, and then lo and behold this morning I find that there were half a dozen edits done on those very same sets. I need all those sets clean and validated before I can finish completing the compositions, so I am asking that you hold off making any more edits until you see the new 20th Century type set live on the site.

I am hoping to be done this afternoon, although the process is taking way longer than I thought it would. I appreciate your patience during this updating process.

Thank you.

  • Whoops. I am sure I was a guilty party. Was having trouble getting my Access spreadsheet loaded at home so used the Edit area of the 1900 set to get the certificate numbers for my gold pieces to add to the new gold sets.

Guilty as charged. I will leave it alone. I also needed a cert number like Keith did.

See!!!! Type Set collectors are major troublemakers! Worse than even Merc collectors!

  • Tell her something she doesn't know Spooly. Type Set guys are becoming legendary for the kind of trouble we can cause. image

Yeah, I agree with Spooly. The only thing worse than type set collectors is selling books and supplies on the web!!!

  • Merc guys may have started a ruckus, but not the Type guys. Those other folks don't have user-enabled polls. image

Although Dena did remove the High Relief Saint as soon as I asked about it's status. Maybe she had heard of me. image
