Two possible first time PSA submissions

Hi all. I've never submitted to PSA and just recently joined the forum. I have many cards I'd like to possibly submit to PSA, but, on the recommendation of a fellow board member, I'll post them here first. These are just two from the second page of a large binder. Was just wondering your thoughts on if I should even bother with these two:

It looks like I need to clean my scanner too.

Thanks!

  • Are you selling or collecting?
The best pitch to start a hitter off with is always strike one.
  • If you are selling, yes, if you are collecting, whichever you prefer.
  • Most likely selling.

  • I am out of my element on 52s, but they both look like 7s to me; even if they are 6s they are probably worth grading.
  • Nice corners on those. The Stuart for sure.

Yes, grade them. If this is indicative of your collection, keep on scanning. Very nice 52s.

I second the motion. Keep on scanning. As long as there are no surface wrinkles, I would send those babies in. Those look like a lock for PSA 7 from here. You will definitely be able to maximize your money having those graded.

  • These are the two best '52's I have. None of the others even come close. A Ted Gray looked like it would be solid, but it has faint creasing.

  • For my 1952 Tigers, these are the middle of the lot, condition wise.

That is a hair on the top left of the Houtteman card. It's not on the actual card, just the scanner.

Nice cards Chris, the Stuart is the nicest overall and if the back is centered you could get a 7 or 7.5 on it, maybe a 8 if you're lucky. I keep looking at the left side of the Souchock card, it looks to bow

in meaning trimmed but I could be wrong. Sometimes scans can deceive the eye. The others are in the 4 and 5 range. I would for sure submit the first two, but only send the others in if you are

working on the set. 52's are the best, thanks for sharing. Doug
