Would love to see a scan of the mini Brett.

BTW Min Size Req does not mean the card was trimmed. It may just size up a bit small and could get slabbed on a future submission.

  • I was a little nervous about it being in a GAI holder. It is a nice card. Thought it might even catch a PSA 9.

  • I paid 61 dollars for the Brett and only 8 dollars for the Larkin, but I got burned on that dam Koufax.

They seem to be really tough on this card. I'll try and post a 6 of mine later.

  • Do you have a scan of the altered stock Koufax, was it trimmed or recolored or....?
    A nickel ain't worth a dime anymore.

  • I bought the Koufax back in June. So the scan isn't on ebay anymore. When the card
comes back I will put it up. The card passed the trimmed test in my opinion. I guess
    it was recolored.

That is a solid looking 6. if not for the tilt, that would be a fantasticly centered copy

i agree that they are tougher on this card. True its an iconic RC as far as modern goes.

186 graded several of my recent subs- I thought they were fairly graded- and I received PSA 7,8, 8.5, 9 on several of the items
Collecting Clemente master (#6) and basic PSA registry sets, Hank Aaron master and basic sets, Mantle oddball issues, 1970's mega decade HOFs, 1967 Topps pin ups, and high grade Topps Clemente and Aaron. Numerous transactions with over 100 board members.

+1 I got the same result on a '65T Perez RC. Thot I had an easy 8. Seen this many times on the '65T issue. Maybe the sheet cutter at the Topps factory was wolfing down a Philly cheesesteak and not paying attention??

Would like to see the Koufax -

    "Molon Labe"

  • After talking to a few collectors we think grader 185 is usually a modern cards grader that has been asked to grade older cards because of demand. I know Roy was off last week, but I have a feeling he is gonna get flooded with calls (one from me) complaining about the recent grades from 185.
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.
