Any tips for collecting Swiss shooting medals?

I plan on buying the book(s) by Richter. What other tips would you give?
TIA!

Yep, if you just buy Zohars cast offs you'll have a very nice collection. Seriously though, there are a bunch of them, I just limit myself to ones that have classical depictions of Helvetia on them.

Richter is a great start - one of the better catalogs, color images, descriptions, indicative prices and scarcity levels.

Send me a PM and I can elaborate further.

Good hunting. It is a fun series yet as Jeff indicated it is better to select a sub theme. I focus on larger size 40mm and higher.

I briefly considered this as a topic. If I had pursued it, I would have concentrated on one of the specific localities, either Aargau or Zurich.
