my submission

i sent in 4 morgans to be graded, crossover but i put them in as any grade, all were solid coins i wish i could take pics for y all.

79s old ana holder 65pl pcgs 66 but not pl ???????????
85 ngc 63 dmpl pcgs 63pl ????
1880s ngc 66 pcgs 65
96 ngc 64pl pcgs 64 such a shock here i figured was lock pl/maybe dmpl

my uncle told me i was foolish for not cracking em out myself, because pcgs has penis envy against coins that arent in their holder
local b&m says pcgs tightened up so hard on pl and dmpl morgans, that he uses ngc for them now

im thinking i have to crack them out and send em in as raw and pay more grading fees grrrrrrrrrrrr

what do y'all think

Why is it so important to have them regraded....are you going to sell right away?

    Leave them as is.

image The 65 to 66 upgrade saved you, otherwise you'd be out a decent amount of money.

Talking to dealers at recent shows for the past several months they have been saying that PL/DMPL are getting very hard to get at most grading services.

Listen to blu62vette (Todd) as he specializes in PL and DMPL dollars. He's at most if not all of the
big shows taking his pics for you and everyone else. He's in the know.

Todd is absolutely right here - PLs and DMPLs at PCGS are getting increasingly harder to get. And that is part of the reason why PCGS DMPLs sell for a premium.

Lucky on the 65 to 66.

a DMPL is a measurable quality.

either it measures out, or it doesn't.

I don't see how they can tighten up unless they have movied the measuring stick.
