New Series...NEWPs

With a pick up from MFH's recent auction and the following NEWP's, I have officially started a "side series". Below are the second and third purchases for the collection. I happen to like these two coins very much. I think this is going to be equally enjoyable and expensive.

High grade Barber half dollars are terrific coins, but for the typical Barber collector the opportunity to buy such pieces will likely be tougher to come by than the funds to purchase them.

The 1900 is graded 55 and the 1902 is 58. In hand, the 1900 is slightly lighter in color and the 1902 has wonderful baby blue toning covering the reverse.
