Are circulated Morgans basically bid coins?

I rarely purchase Morgans. Today I was offered a 95-S in F+ for about bid. I love the look of it - one of Lordmarcovans trademarked Circams. I am thinking about it. I only have one other Morgan in my collection. A common date MS65 for type.

Yes and no. My experience is that better dates in circ. that are in PCGS holders (I have LOTS of experience with 1895-S in particular) usually sell for Bid or better, except on eBay where it's not uncommon for them to be less. Raw coins, however, rarely sell for as much as Bid unless they have a chance of grading higher than the advertised grade. If I had a chance to buy a gorgeous original raw F+ at straight F Bid from a seller who knows quality and knows grading, I'd seriously consider it.
    When in doubt, don't.

Certain dates like the 95-S stick close to the sheet. However, Morgan Dollars don't stick to sheet as a rule. Many circ Morgans have significant discounts, especially in NGC holders, ex.: 90-O, 91-O, 92-O, 94-O, 95-O.

Yes. Bid is really the floor price for PCGS coins for tougher stuff.
