Hello all,

With September coming tomorrow it is time to start thinking NHL Hockey again and with that comes Year Three of the CU Fantasy League.

I am going to start the sign-up nice and early so we can fill this league up.

Same rules as all other Yahoo! leagues I run. Cost is $25 per team and the top 3 teams win prizes. I will hold all the money so that we have no holdouts come payout time. Payment will be due before the draft date and will need to be sent to me as a Paypal gift.

I can bring a buddy of mine who moved to the greater Boston area, and wants to learn more about the NHL, if we need another guy.

It was a blast last year!

Edit: Perhaps adjust the weekly transactions up to 3 or 4?

We obviously need to get away from the waiver wire foolishness of last year, but two may be a bit draconian.

another possibility to consider is expanding the roster to 3 - C, LW, RW each. 3 starting forwards are pretty standard for fantasy hockey and it will also help to eliminate some of the upper-tier talent dangling on the waiver wire.

Also, Mathew, one other thing, given the nature of the final week of the NHL season....ie players getting rested/shutdown early etc, you might consider moving the playoffs up a week so that you can avoid some of that stuff in the final week.....given that the add/drops are now limited and all.
