Need some help with that to have a hockey player autograph...

Just found out that Ray Bourque, Peter Stastny and Gordie Howe will be signing autographs at the Toronto Sports Card Expo this coming November on the day I will be attending. I am thinking I might like to get some autographs but not really sure what I should have autographed?

With baseball players I like to have them sign OML Baseballs. I have the rookie cards of all three but they are all graded and I won't be cracking them out to be signed. I have thought that maybe pucks but not sure how that would work. Pictures maybe? But then displaying them is harder...

Anyway, figured I would turn to the autograph experts here on the board to see what they have done in the past and maybe see some examples.

Gordie has a beautiful signature that looks great on a Red Wings puck.

The Hockey McFarlanes take a signature very well and look cool autographed.

I like the way signed pucks look (esp w/ Gold pens). But if it's for straight display, maybe 11 X 14's? Frame them in an office or something.

I collect signed hockey sticks and they look awesome when displayed. Alternatively you can just get some blades signed. Make sure you get the appropriate left hand shot/right hand shot blade for each player.

Hi Mathew,
This is my original six puck display. Would not work with the Stastny but maybe use this as an idea to display the pucks. Perhaps just put the team logo next to each puck. Let us know what you decide.

AJ's has done a really good job with this year's autograph guests. As well as Bourque, Howe and Statsny you have Lemaire, Laperierre, Shutt, Gilmour, Joseph and Andreychuk among others.
