Got one of my Grails today
We all have them, weather it is a coin or something else we have these hard to find items that
we call or atleast I do a grail. The one I got today comes to me from a dealer friend of
mine that just happened to have one. I have never been a big fan of PCGS rattlers why I
have no idea and I only have a few but I decided a while back I would build a Walker MS 65
Short Set in only rattlers. Now I knew that would be a feat in it's self but it is coming along
and then I thought I better have me a PCGS box for them babies so the quest began. Google
was my friend as we say on here but to no real avail but the detective in me or rather the
bail bondsman bounty hunter I am, I ran down some leads and sure enough I found I that my
buddy had sold them in the past way back sooo I emailed him and sure enough he dug one up
for me and I got it today.

Now that is the deal. I ran an I Want on the BST for the longest time and had one
member say he had one and wanted me to make him an offer. Well I really didn't
know what to offer so I gave him a price. He came back with he had seen them on
one auction site for like a buck fifty to buck eigthy five, that's $150. to $185. and told
him Thank You Very Much I just thought I wanted one and kind a gave up the quest
but dang it I started back at it and that's when I found one but it was after I had read
an article that a Registry Set owner had written about the rattlers and the boxes I knew
I thought I was Doomed. If I tell you what I paid for this one you might call me a fibber but Hand
too Heart he sent it to me and said mail him back a check for twenty five dollars and I fainted.
Got it in today and a new Jackson and a used Limcoln are in a envelope with a stamp on it
sitting on my desk for the postman to pick up tomorrow when I'm not at work.
I got a blue case and thought I made a score. Ha! Then I paid like $15 ea. for two from PCGS only to receive one free from PCGS after my first 8-coin free Platinum submission. Geesh! I have no idea how to value these. But I must say, I'm more interested in the coins that fill theses things.
Cheers!
