questions about eBay shipping

I am planning on selling quite a few 1941 play ball cards, but I would like to attach a tracking number to the items that I am going to ship. Using PayPal's shipping label program, it has come to my attention that the only way I can get a tracking number is to actually send it via priority mail. I feel this will be a turn off for the collector (around six dollars shipping), but I don't want people to scam me and say that they never received their merchandise. How do you go about this? Do you have any pointers?

Thanks!
Ryan

The information you received is incorrect. You can ship first class (13 ounces or less) and parcel post with a $0.19 tracking number. All you have to do is click "Print Shipping Label" on the auction page after receiving payment. Then use your PayPal account to pay for the postage.

I like to withdraw all funds from my PayPal balance and then pay for postage using a credit card so I get cash back from the credit card.
